Our Role:

Our Technology Solutions Group is a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with exciting changes on the horizon under new senior leadership. We are looking for you to build out scalable applications to support our Compliance, Finance, Data Governance, Operational Risk, and Human Resources teams. You will need to have in-depth technical knowledge as a full-stack Java developer and should feel comfortable working within large internal and external data sets. Your Impact:

Develop quality front-end and back-end applications in an agile environment and create prototypes and POCs (Proof of Concept) to validate, promote, and define the technology strategies.
Align with the Credit Solution Lead, Product Owner and Scrum Master in assessing business needs and transforming them into scalable applications.
Work in an iterative/Agile environment as a good team player.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Build and maintain code to manage data received from heterogenous data formats including web-based sources, internal/external databases, flat files, heterogenous data formats (binary, ASCII).
Hands on coding in technologies such as Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Hibernate, Node.js, Javascript, Typescript, Angular 2+, SQL, JSON, REST API, Docker and AWS environment
Research emerging technologies and develop POCs
Work with the latest CI/CD DevOps deployment model
Build interfaces for supporting evolving and new applications and accommodating new data sources and types of data.

Your Required Skills:

15+ years of experience in building core financial trading/reporting systems in core Java and/or Python Scala is plus
5+ years of Springboot framework based REST API development experience Apigee or equivalent API management is plus
5+ years of AngularJS font end development experience
Docker or equivalent containerization experience
CI/CD with Jenkins or equivalent experience working with DevOps
AWS Cloud experience using services such as EMR, S3, EC2, ALB, Kinesis, Lambda, CloudWatch, Fargate Hadoop / Spark is plus
AWS CloudFormation experience is plus
AWS RedShift, SnowFlake or equivalent data warehouse experience
AWS Arora or Postgres experience
Basic SQL knowledge and Basic knowledge of working in Linux/Unix and Windows environment
Asset management (preferably fixed income) experience is required.
Substantial knowledge and working experience using Agile development methodology using collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives both independently and within teams
Proven ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment
Clear communication and interpersonal skill
Bachelors degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field

Your Desired Skills:

Apigee or equivalent API management is plus
Hadoop / Spark is plus
AWS CloudFormation experience is plus
