We are looking for a full-time ERP/Java Application Developer for our headquarters in Cary, NC(Hybrid role). In this role, you will design, enhance and develop single and multi-system applications as part of a structured SDLC process.

Responsibilities

Other essential functions include:

Provide Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management ) support and implement system enhancements, as well as other potential business applications

Developing scalable, supportable, and reliable REST APIs that service the entire Garmin ecosystem which includes Oracle EBS, homegrown and/or Third-Party API integrations.

Participating in the full lifecycle of development, including conception, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment using Agile methodology

Qualifications

Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science degree OR Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND 2 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Other requirements include:

Basic Qualifications

3+ years utilizing Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, UI Design, HTML, CSS, JSP, JQuery, Maven

Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito etc.

Experienced with designing and developing microservices and REST services

Experienced with WebLogic & Tomcat servers

3+ years of experience working on relational databases (Oracle) and basic SQL skills.

Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills

Familiar with SDLC & Agile Scrum methodology

Experienced with Bitbucket, Jira, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of experience working with Agile PLM modules especially Product Collaboration and/or PG&C (Product Governance and Compliance)

3+ years of experience developing Process Extensions & customizations using Agile PLM SDK

Basic knowledge of Unix systems and bash scripts

Good exposure to large or medium scale enterprise application integration (EAI) with multiple interfaces and systems
