The role of the European Marketing team is to make the Samsung brand and products desirable. Our remit stretches from brand, marketing, PR to Samsung.com, CRM, social media and retail.

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

This role is to own and drive the DTC platform development roadmap that maximises sell-in/out efficacy.

DTC Platform Management

Define the DTC platform architecture design and strategy that covers all digital touch points
Delivery of platform modules from ideation, implementation and optimisation
Co-ordinate smooth platform transition from in-house platforms to SAP Hybris
Work in close collaboration with key platform partners in HQ and support eStore heads in region subsidiaries
End to end project management of the DTC backlog across all European subsidiaries

Technical Strategy and Operation

Provide Technical Architecture design expertise
Govern the integration of modules with back-end UI/Platform/Server & 3rd party products
Define the platform development roadmap
Lead a multi vendor development team across Europe

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Deep knowledge and experience of the SAP Hybris and Adobe Experience Manager, including application architecture, database design and analytics solutions etc.
Able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in designing and developing complex, eCommerce solutions
Experience in architecting eCommerce customer experiences
Hands on experience implementing all modules of eCommerce
Able to deliver cases to define an appropriate roadmap for the business
Strong end-to-end project management skills
Excellent communicator with the ability to gain consensus from the top management
Able to build a strong new team to deliver the mission
Coach and mentor up-level the teams core capability

What does success look like?

Facilitate stabilisation of DTC platforms and protect business performance
Rapid deployment of improvements across Europe to operationalize sales enhancing feature sets
Ensure product enhancements closely align with business goals
Ensure PMO function delivers value to subsidiaries by establishing a robust cadence of programme management and prioritisation of EU backlog
Reduce the number of defects by implementing a rigorous QA strategy prior and post releases
