Join Honeywell as a Research Scientist who will lead the development and synthesis of novel materials for Advanced Materials Division. You will be part of the Discovery & Innovation team that identifies and develops new and unique chemistry solutions to the current and emerging materials needs in the areas of data storage and communication, advanced energy storage, automotive and stationary refrigeration, personal care, building and construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\r\r

Work in a team of synthetic chemists to generate novel molecules and/or compositions for new applications
Closely collaborate with the Physical Properties, Modeling and Applications teams to characterize new molecule design criteria, properties and evaluate application performance
Contribute to scale-up of novel molecules for customer sampling, properties and applications testing
Effectively document and communicate results and project progress to technical and non-technical audiences.
Follow all related safety and environmental rules and regulations

YOU MUST HAVE

\r\r

Ph.D. in synthetic Organic Chemistry
Postgraduate or industrial hands-on experience in the design and synthesis of small molecules
