Mechanical Piping Superintendent

Minimum 10 years’ experience in welded fuel piping systems installation and maintenance including commercial fuels, jet fuel, bulk oil, and terminal work; both above ground and underground installations.
Must be able to manage, coordinate, and control all aspects of work site including safety, crewmembers, equipment, inspections, and work schedule).
Ideal candidate will have minimum OSHA 30 hour certificate and have experience installing up to 16” diameter piping – in excavated and above ground conditions. .
Must be competent in excavation, welding, lifting, quality control activities, and the proper purging of fuel systems.

Responsibility / Skills include:

Promote and practice good safety at all times;
computer proficiency with knowledge of MS office, MS Project, and Project Management software;
proficiency in layout / grade;
inspect work and maintain quality standards per contract documents;
strong organization skills;
excellent communication skills with ability to document daily work activity, knowledge of jobsite safety (OSHA and EM385);
understand and ensure that company and government requirements relating to safety, health, and the environment are strictly enforced;
capable of identifying existing and potential hazards related to safety or environmental concerns, able to apply company procedures and policies to work situations;
ability to manage, plan, coordinate, and control all assigned project activities within budget guidelines;
ability to understand and adhere to plans and specifications including P&ID’s.
