The Global Markets Risk Technology team within Risk and Finance Technology consists of extremely talented engineers, who develop industry leading risk framework models and platforms.
**Role Overview**
This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum team and is focused on serving the needs of the team to drive performance and growth. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement within the team. This role ensures the impediments are resolved quickly; the team follows their agreed to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team. They promote and coach the Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross functional potential.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices and develop their understanding of Agile principles.
+ Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (for example, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives).
+ In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (for example, Pre-Planning/ Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs.
+ Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements.
+ Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO).
+ Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team.
+ Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments.
+ Provide visibility into the Agile teams delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders.
+ Enable the team to become high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement including cross-skilling across the team.
+ Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Mentor more junior Scrum Masters.
**Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:**
+ Has demonstrated expertise in facilitating Scrum ceremonies (for example, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives).
+ Has demonstrated expertise in Identifying risk/dependencies and quantifying the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve.
+ Has the ability to understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the lifecycle and engages as required.
+ Has demonstrated expertise in facilitating team planning ceremonies against backlog/prioritized work.; managing risk/dependencies/impediments for 1-2 teams; ability to answer teams Agile/waterfall framework questions.
**Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For:**
+ Has knowledge of software development but has not been involved in hands on application development/coding
+ Has general awareness of testing practices but has not involved in hands on testing
+ Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices. Ability to participate in their role and utilize necessary tools with minimal guidance
+ Basic awareness of architecture and design. Ability to comply with bank standards for information security and business architectures

**Jersey City pay range:**
$89,200 - $137,700
annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
