Job Summary

Due to continued business growth, a new and unique role of CAD & Vault Administrator has become available. In this role, you will be supporting and developing systems, processes, and procedures that will help support the core Engineering functions and surrounding departments. You will develop and provide efficient tools and workflows to achieve better desirables. Projects undertaken can include introduction to new software, automation training, and supporting documentation of users as needed.
Internal training will be given to the successful candidate where needed. This position will be based in Richmond, Virginia and is a full-time position.

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:

  • Assist with current and new tasks, as assigned by the Director of Engineering

  • Primary system administrator for the day-to-day administration of the Anord Mardix (US) Vault.

  • Work with Autodesk regarding any major issues/bugs in the application.

  • Implement change requests on workflows, security settings, and general lifecycles of all project-related files.

  • Ensure proper integration between the Anord Mardix Vault and any other production systems and processes.

  • Primary technical support for critical production issues impacting end-users, including system unavailability, data integrity issues, and general usage questions.

  • Lead effort in upgrade/deployment of software.

  • Enforce best practice rules for any users accessing the Anord Mardix Vault.

  • Optimize systems for maximum efficiency, performance, and output.

  • Undertake key development projects.

  • Debug and test all systems and projects developed.

  • Assist in data audits, ensuring business processes are followed.

THE EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:

Essential Skills:

  • Manage workload efficiently and promptly.

  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations and prioritize conflicting needs.

  • Able to work independently on multiple projects with efficient time management.

  • Methodical approach to problem solving.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of CAD software.

  • 3+ years of experience with CAD in an engineering or administrative capacity

  • Bachelors degree (significant targeted experience may be considered in lieu of the degree)

Desirable Skills:

  • Autodesk Inventor/Revit/Vault Knowledge.

  • Autodesk iLogic Coding/VBA Knowledge.

  • Excel Macro/VBA Knowledge.

  • Strong IT Skills.

  • Experience with ERP Systems.

Previous working knowledge within an Engineering environment would be beneficial, along with working knowledge of Autodesk products (Vault, Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft, Azure, etc.).
