**Unit Description**


**Sodexo** is seeking a **Director of Information Systems and Technology Services** to support **Facilities Management for Lubbock Independent School Districts.** The Lubbock Independent School District covers 85.5 square miles and contains nearly 808 acres of school properties that are owned by the local taxpayers. Those properties include 51 campuses: 29 elementary, 9 middle schools, 4 high schools, Talkington School for Young Women Leaders (grades 6th-12th), 2 special purpose, 3 alternative campuses and a state-of-the-art Advanced Technology Center for the teaching of computer operations and programming.


**Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated expert knowledge in the following areas:**


+ Application Software Development -Develop custom applications for computers, mobile, and website as required

+ Application Management - Troubleshoot and provide technical support to Sodexo employees for HCL Notes and current applications. System administration for the same applications to include upgrading, installing, and configuring software.

+ Support Liaison - Work with Sodexo corporate offices for the Lubbock field office. Act as point of contact for Sodexo with the client.

+ Contract and manage third party application work as needed.

+ Manage the network including employee access and data integrity. Set up and integrate new users into the system

+ Oversee CAD drafting of design, renovations and additions for client sites and buildings; manage district blueprint archives and electronic drawing files

+ Keep abreast of technical, legislative, and professional trends and make recommendations accordingly


**A successful candidate will have:**


+ Proficiency in developing software with current scripting and OOP programming languages such as Javascript, Python, PHP, Java, C Sharp and Visual Basic; also have a firm acquaintance with JSON, DOM (HTML), CSS and .Net framework. Proficiency in LotusScript would be a plus.

+ Proficiency with server, client, and computer operating systems as well as cell phone, and tablet, including Google, Windows, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, database management and standard business software. Ability with Apple / Mac OS would be a plus.

+ Understanding of computers and network hardware functions

+ Understanding of the internet and wireless communications

+ Excellent communication skills

**Position Summary**


Provides database administration support to IT projects. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Troubleshoots basic problems and recommends appropriate actions.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
