**Duties/Responsibilities:**

- Engineering sustainment of aircraft structure

- Implementation of Northrop Grumman digital transformation technologies, including use of digital scanner and Northrop Grumman proprietary software for efficient assessment of maintenance issues and damage, to provide critical structural engineering solutions

- Repair of aircraft skins, ribs, longerons, and other structural elements

- Development of technical data packages and substantiation documentation

- Utilize software packages such as Siemens NX and TeamCenter

- Excellent communication and people skills required to work with key stakeholders within other engineering disciplines, including but not limited to systems engineering, mechanics/technicians, and program management, for capturing all engineering requirements needed to achieve program objectives in a timely manner

- Critical thinking and personal organizational skills

- Task planning and conducting technical peer reviews,

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

- Minimum 2 years of related mechanical, structural, or design engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0 years of experience with a related Master's degree

- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Active DoD Secret security clearance, or higher

- Master of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

- 2+ years of structural design experience

- 2+ years metrology experience
- 2+ years GD&T experience

- 2+ years Siemens NX and TeamCenter experience

- Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

- Hard working, motivated, and independent worker

Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
