GWIM Senior Operations Analyst

**Job Description:**



Provides technical and analytical support in a GWIM operations function for one or more product areas such as funds transfer, collateral mgt/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support,clearance/settlement,documentation/confirmations,customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes.



This position is part of the Managed Account Operations and Loan Management Account Operations Departments. The Associate will be responsible for effectively creating and maintaining a robust managed product training program for New Hires, Branch Office, and Home Office personnel. Manages all self-service tools for managed products including Ask Merrill update approvals, Client Service Team Message Board, Quick Reference Cards (QRC) and Guides. Serves as liaison between Managed Account Platform Service (MAPS) and Managed Account Operations. Coordinates with the Investment Solutions Group (ISG) and Technology teams on upcoming platform enhancements to ensure Home and Branch Office training materials are created and/or revised. Support includes daily interaction with Branch Offices, ISG Product Partners and various operational teams within the Home Office.



Minimum Required Skills:



+ 3+ years of relevant industry experience

+ Strong organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and meet deadlines in a changing environment

+ Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

+ Demonstrate teamwork and strong interpersonal skills

+ Self-starter attitude: Demonstrates initiative and ability to work and execute with minimal supervision

+ Strategic/Conceptual Thinker, Innovative, Flexible, and Team Builder

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills across and up the organization

+ Strong ability to influence/challenge and negotiate to keep all parties engaged in the process

+ Strong relationship management skills

+ Proven ability to provide comprehensive solutions to complex needs and/or problems

+ Effective PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop presentations

+ Effective Excel skills with the ability to create reports daily

+ Proficient with SharePoint and Visio

+ An appetite and aptitude for reading and understanding policy and procedure documentation



**Desired Skills:**



+ Experience in a prior project management, risk and/or support role

+ Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

+ Six Sigma, Agile or related project management methodology experience

+ Experience with managing process improvement

+ Knowledge of Retirement Plan products and processes

+ Bachelors degree a plus
