Chubb is seeking an innovative VP/Head of Analytics Asset Development to oversee the process of enabling the development of data assets for its North American Insurance operations. North America Insurance is Chubbs largest division comprising commercial and consumer P&C insurance businesses in the United States, Canada and Bermuda. The successful candidate is a proven team leader with expertise in analytics asset development and data flow orchestration. This leader will have a solid understanding of analytics applications and processes, work across analytics and technical teams to advise on solution development based on business requirements, have facilitate the delivery of developed assets into our business ecosystem. As needed, this leader is expected to be hands-on with troubleshooting and bug-fixing of assets going through the development cycle. As the company continues to undergo its digital transformation, the successful candidate should have significant experience in enterprise data and strategic analytics practices. As part of the North America Data & Analytics team, you will be a key business partner, working collaboratively with business unit leaders to achieve ambitious business plans, deepen customer and business partner relationships, IT partners, and vendors to ensure we maximize the investments made, as well as gaps that need attention. This role will be a key to supporting analytics asset development and end-user integrations in the NA business, including digitization of analytics products. This role will require exceptional collaboration and influencing skills as well as a background in data modeling, analytics process and project design, business intelligence, project / program oversight, and insight generation.

Responsibilities:
Oversight for the overall orchestration of process pertaining to requirements (business, functional, technical) development and work plan design across multiple teams for analytics products
Serve as a key advisor on the design of analytics applications (including models and APIs) and the inputs required and suitable work plans for building business-facing assets
Serve as a key advisor on other data pathways to delivery analytics insights and value to the business
Serve as central point of connectivity between NA Analytics and Global Analytics for asset development and execution of initiatives
Experience leading and collaborating with Data Science and Data Analytics teams
Responsible for transitioning requirements to global analytics team
Responsible for the overall process of evaluation, review, testing / vetting and pre-production analytics solutions (e.g., models, dashboards, code management)
Serve as key lead providing oversight of POCs and MVPs intended to prove long-term value to the business
Serve as advisor on the process of determine the relevant success metrics and KPIs that will serve to measure outcomes once assets are productionized
Review and assess work progress across multiple teams, own the delivery schedule and alignment of outcomes for all
Advise NA Data and Analytics Leadership, as well as other leadership teams, and recommended strategies and priorities around in-flight initiatives and assets to be developed relative to Chubbs strategy and intended business outcomes
Ownership of the NA strategy and process for how analytics assets get productionized across Field Operations and all NA Divisions
Push projects into production, overcoming implementation hurdles, partnering with underwriting, operations, and IT
Work directly with the Data Science teams to review the work and ensure it meets the needs and requirements of the business units
Provides visibility and input where appropriate to the North America EVP of Data and Analytics and Head of Analytics Development to ensure strategies and work are appropriately linked

5-7+ years of experience data and analytics as a leader
Bachelors degree or equivalent in work experience
Knowledgeable of advanced and emerging analytical tools, such as web scraping, machine learning models
Experience in providing data driven consultation (either internally or as an external consultant) to business unit leaders
Background in developing analytics products, including querying tools, dashboards, applications and business insights
Background in business intelligence
Solid understand of analytics applications and processes
Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to present complex issues in a manner that is easily understood by a non-technical audience
Creative problem solver with the ability to quickly identify and resolve errors through collaborative solutions
Data-driven decision maker; able to complete thorough research and investigation, yet quickly make decisions and present findings
Capable of working collaboratively with leaders and business partners
