**Job Description:**
Responsible for designing and developing complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience in using design and architectural patterns. At this level, specializations start to form in either Architecture, Test Engineering, or DevOp. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, and business) in the design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Designs/develops/modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained. Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance). Sets up and develops a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline. Automates manual release activities. Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack. Individual contributor.
**Job Responsibilities:**
Develop, enhance and support a range of critical microservices and portlets using Spring and Spring Boot technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with both technical and business colleagues globally at locations in Singapore, India, London, New York, and Chicago. The successful candidate will work as part of a wider development team spread between London, Singapore, and India. Current team members will provide support to enable you to familiarize yourself with the relevant functional aspects of the development role.
**Required Skills:**
+ 7 + years of Java Development experience
+ 7 + years Experience using version control/project tracking/CI/CD tools like GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Ansible
+ Serve as a development team member for Level 3 Production Support issue resolution
+ Developing software applications using Angular and Java/J2EE frameworks
+ Experience in Database programming tools (Oracle Database - SQL/PLSQL), Shell Scripting (Unix), Hibernate, Spring Framework (Spring Boot/Rest API)
+ Experience in design, development, testing, and implementation of Microservices and Web-based applications
+ Experience working with Agile methodology and can effectively work as part of a wider development team spread between London, Singapore, and India

+ An aptitude for problem analysis and resolution and an eye for details
+ Experience interacting with Business product owners and end users to define new software requirements and triage any issues that arise
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Jersey City pay range:**
$90,500 - $160,000
annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
