KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist. Application Penetration Tester to join our KPMG Spectrum (https://www.kpmgspectrum.com/content/spectrum/en/homespectrum.html?location=us) practice.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide strategic direction for application and network penetration testing teams to develop growth of the services solution and manage client engagements
+ Provide guidance to team members and as well as perform manual penetration tests of applications, APIs, web services, networks, wireless, IoT Devices and mobile applications; perform threat modeling, evaluate application business logic and perform application architecture reviews
+ Lead client engagements and provide technical leadership and advice to team members on attack and penetration testing engagements
+ Engage with non-technical audiences and articulate scoping/pricing conversations, testing processes and techniques, as well as report read-outs
+ Guide technical audiences on remediation options and assist them in weighing those options
+ Partner with the Cyber teams to develop new testing techniques, automation for testing and marketing collateral to support the practice, mentor onshore and offshore team members on tools and techniques in performing testing
Qualifications:
+ Minimum five years of recent experience working with using application penetration tools to perform security tests: AppScan, Netsparker, Acunetix, ZAP, Veracode, BurpSuite or equivalent; minimum five years of working with technical and non-technical audiences in reporting results and leading remediation conversations; experience in scripting, network penetration testing, social engineering techniques, scenario-based assessments, and red team engagements: Tenable Nessus, Qualys, Kali Linux, Metasploit or equivalent
+ Experience in one or more of the following: mobile application testing, code development, manual code analysis and/or static analysis using Veracode, Fortify, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Contrast or equivalent preferred
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent industry experience
+ One or more major ethical hacking certifications not required but preferred; CEH, GWAPT, CREST, OSCP, OSWE
+ Ability to travel as necessary
