Job Title: Sr. Cloud HCM Analyst
Salary: $75,000
Unit: Human Resources
Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an opening for a Senior Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management Analysts in its Human Resources Division. In this position, under the guidance of the Deputy Director of Human Capital Management (HCM) Application, the Senior Analysts will provide technical support related to the DANY HCM application. The Oracle HCM application's functions include, but are not limited to: Core Human Resources, Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Learning Management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the HCM system.
Serve as the lead in troubleshooting and analyzing production issues, including documentation of the root cause and any configuration changes required to resolve.
Analyze, document and test impact of required patches and any ERP and system initiatives on business processes and customizations.
Develop, test and validate pre-defined system requirements coming from HCM Cloud.
Actively engage in efforts for new implementations, enhancements, and production support
Provide day-to-day hands-on support by bridging the gap between functional users and the HCM team and clearly articulating any issues or new/changing requirements needed.
Collaborate with core business partners to identify efficiencies in existing processes utilizing system configurations and automation.
Provide customer service and production support for various HCM modules.
Analyze prioritized issues using a variety of troubleshooting and analysis to investigate production issues, propose options for resolution, document findings and ultimately document and solution the issues in production.
Create service requests with Oracle and work with analysts, developers, DBAs and Oracle to resolution.
Participate in technical workshops with Oracle community to keep pace with developments.
Work with HCM team and HR Specialists to create documents related to scenario and script testing, detailed analysis based on requirement documents and creation of user guides.
Provide reports about transactions in the system.
Perform imports and exports of HCM data using BI Publisher Reports/Integrations, Approval workflows, Fast Formulas and HCM extracts, as directed by the HCM Administrator.
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in computer science, information technology, or a related field).
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience in supporting users.
Preferred Requirement:
Strong technical background in computer software and troubleshooting required.
Extensive application life cycle experience in gathering, application sourcing, design, development, testing, training, rollout, and post-implementation support.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (including advanced data functions in Excel.
Strong technical aptitude and an ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
Functional experience in designing, building, testing, training, and post-production support of applications.
Excellent analytical skills; ability to collect and analyze data and succinctly present findings.
Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
High level of flexibility, with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
Experience with Oracle Capital Management systems a plus.
Commitment:
One (1) year commitment to hiring department.
