This is a unique career opportunity is for a highly experienced Data Analyst with broad data-focused skills. The successful candidate should have hands-on experience working with large, complex databases and generating insights based on data.
About the Role:
Asa Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for meeting data requests from Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) teams and other external teams. You would also be responsible for building robust and well-documented processes to perform quality checks on the data received from upstream systems. You will work closely with the Data Architects,Solution Architects& Data Modelerstoensure seamless flow of data from multiple sources to target systems.
A strong candidate will useoperational skills to drive efficiency and speed,haveexpertiseinbuilding repeatable data engineering processes,usestrongagile andproject management skills to collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver on data requests.
Ideal Experience
5+ years of experience working with large and complex databases to generate meaningful insights as well as business intelligence dashboards, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
Extensive knowledge of data warehouse principles, design, and concepts.
3+ years of experience in creating insightful dashboards through visualization of data
Experience performing UAT and data quality testing
Knowledge of data modeling techniques and high-volume ETL/ELT design.
Expert level experience working with Oracle SQL
Use agile engineering practices and various data development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient data products
Identify inefficiencies, optimize processes and dataflows,and make recommendations for improvements
Communicate across teams, bothforad-hoc problem solving, and check-ins/discussions with other initiatives
Support non-technical team members in understanding the underlying data to assist in making data informed, risk-based decisions
Functional knowledge of Payments (FED and SWIFT), Sanctions Compliance and Financial Crimes Risk Management is preferred (ACAMS certification is a plus)

Advanced MS Excel skills (including macros)
Advanced Oracle SQL skills
Experience working with Tableau and Business Objects
Knowledge ofData Modeling,Data protection/compliance standards like GDPR
