The Senior Director €“ Connected Cyber is a high-impact role\rresponsible for the overall strategic vision for software including\rconceptualization, investment analysis, design, build, launch and performance\rfor the Connected Cyber Vertical within the Honeywell Connected Enterprise\rplatform. Critical to the success of this role is the candidate€™s ability to\runderstand the products and services of Honeywell Connected Cyber (e.g., their\rend-user€™s needs and application, key business issues), and the ability to\rtranslate business requirements into practical application, ensuring that\rconcepts get fully executed into product offerings that achieve a defined\rbusiness outcome including transformation from legacy to microservices\rarchitecture (e.g., business process improvement, new services innovation,\rend-user client analytics and business insight). The powerful combination of\rthe Connected Cyber Platform consisting of advanced software application and\rdata insight should deliver significant results measured by enhanced customer\rsatisfaction, new services innovation, operational efficiencies, and annuitized\rrevenues.
The job includes responsibility for the leadership, actions, and team\rdevelopment of a 60+ member technology team located in the US, Israel, and\rBangalore. The role incumbent would be leading the development and\rcommercialization of new products and solutions through persistent and creative\rleverage of existing offering on a platform common to HCE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a large software engineering organization\r responsible for design, development, testing and delivery of an enterprise\r class cloud native SaaS offering using agile development methodologies.
Create an Internet of Things (IoT) and advanced\r analytics offering that leverages IT and OT data that enables customers to\r improve their productivity, performance, reliability, and safety
Attract, recruit, and lead next gen digital talent team\r to drive Honeywell Connected Industrial Technology goals.
Build global organizational and talent development\r capability including succession plans. Ensure organization is positioned\r to support growth in emerging markets.
Drive growth and innovation within a culture of\r technology, research, development, and engineering functions by\r facilitating an environment of teamwork and desire to be the best.
Collaborate and partner with Product Management and\r other organizations to plan and execute development projects, and to\r ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications,\r direction, and resources to deliver projects on an aggressive, but\r achievable timeline
Engage with customers/prospects with unique ability to\r create partnerships over contractual relationships.
Drive culture of continuous process improvement and\r innovation through leadership skills. Oversee the process and culture\r change from waterfall model to agile development methodologies
Drive financial performance by meeting expense and\r capital budgets as well as developing budgets to fund growth programs\r supporting business goals.
MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Experience includes engineering R&D and secure software development lifecycle.
Cloud/platform computing (Azure, AWS, GCP), Software as a Service (SaaS)
15+ years of management/leadership
Expertise in product development and management with the technical depth to marry both engineering and product development process.
Entrepreneurial mindset to creatively solve engineering challenges and the negotiation and collaboration skills required to work with others effectively in an agile environment.
Deep knowledge and understanding of cyberspace and cyber challenges in industrial environments in particular; familiarity of the cyber trends in terms of offensive and defensive - tools, products, companies, and relevant platforms.
Technical management skills to include knowledge of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) technology stack including networking, connectivity protocols, software technologies like Java, .net, Python and reactJS as well as virtualization, containerization & Kubernetes, asset, and performance management, and working knowledge of DevSecOps principles including CI/CD and Agile framework.
Experience in big data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics as well as software technologies like Hadoop, Kong, Dremio, time series databases, public cloud platforms such as MSFT Azure.
Prior experience delivering multi-tenant Internet of Things (IoT) SaaS solutions.
Experience with analytics solution and portfolio modernization is strongly desired.
Proven experience in developing and deploying on-prem solutions at customers€™ environment some of which are restricted and highly protected.
WE VALUE
Advanced degree in engineering or related filed, business degree is a plus

Product development expertise, from idea generation to product launch
Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience

Proven track record of successful cross functional experiences
Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity
