Edelman is looking for a talented Senior Editor to make concepts come to life through impactful storytelling, rhythm, visuals, and sound. Our dream candidate lives for the beats and the moments, crafting narratives through thoughtful editing - and animation & VFX skills are a plus!
As Senior Editor, you are responsible for the video and audio editing of an array of projects, in terms of scale, deliverables, style and scope. These projects employ a variety of formats and techniques for various platforms. You have a strong storytelling point of view and command of all editorial tools and techniques. Moreover, you're a creative maker, skilled in the craft of filmmaking who understands all of the components of video production, including sound, music, visuals and perspective. You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch, while making sure that final deliveries are always on time, on budget, and exceed creative expectations. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process. You're ready to roll up your sleeves and deliver quality work in a time-crunch, and you have a unique passion and proficiency for your craft. Last but not least, you're efficient, organized and accountable, giving proper attention to detail and bringing the full team along in the process.
You'll be joining an award-winning creative team that has produced some pretty stellar work. The things we create are designed to earn people's attention. It's not enough to be culturally relevant-our briefs demand that we alter culture in a positive way. At the end of the day, our bread and butter is creating work that we're proud of - the kind you just can't wait to tell your mom about. Not just because it contributes to hitting campaign KPIs, but because it's an undeniably killer idea that can't be ignored. That kind of work takes a village, and we're pretty proud of the one we've built.
In sum, we're looking for a unicorn: a true maker with a swiss army knife of skills. If this sounds like a role you want and a place you want to be, we'd love to hear from you.
