Role and Responsibilities


Samsung Electronics America is looking for a dynamic and accomplished technical sales representative to help drive growth for our OnGo (CBRS) Pvt LTE & 5G solutions. Built on the carrier class radios and latest cloud scale vRAN/vCore technologies Samsung delivers a massively scalable& secure Pvt LTE /5G solution aimed at unleashing the next generation of Enterprise mobility and enabling digital transformation through IoT and high speed connectivity in Enterprise Wireless networks.

This position offers a unique opportunity to use your existing high consultative selling skills with a deep technical understanding of LTE, 5G and CBRS technologies. In this technical sales role you will be responsible for selling to and selling through partners to regional operators and enterprise customers in the US. You will work closely with Samsungs mobile B2B sales teams to position and sell CBRS based network solutions for enterprise Pvt LTE and IOT.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research and Identify new Enterprise Accounts to position / demo/ sell Samsung Private LTE & 5G solutions. (this is a technical sales role and requires hand on experience is setting up demos and solution showcases)

  • Responsible for partnering / training MSP / SI partners to develop opportunities, execute trials and drive commercial adoption of Enterprise 5G.

  • Deliver compelling technical presentations that show the value of Samsung Pvt LTE + 5G outlining technical differentiation and highlighting the key benefits to Director IT level customer audiences.

  • Highly focused on building up major projects pipeline and help hit sales targets.

  • Establish /maintain a high level of trust and confidence as a 5G / Pvt LTE subject matter expert with the broader Samsung B2B Sales Organizations.


Skills and Qualifications


Background/Experience required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 12+ years of Sales, preferably Systems Engineering (SE) experience with vRAN based LTE /5G solutions.

  • Hands-on technical experience in LTE/ 5G RAN, LTE Core, CBRS (3.5GHz), WiFi required.

  • Deep domain knowledge of customer pain points with Indoor / Outdoor Wireless Connectivity, LMR Systems, Push to Talk, PTP & PMP Wireless Broadband systems.

  • Ability to setup and conduct demos/ PoCs.

  • Strategic thinker and great storyteller with executive presence and the ability to communicate a compelling value proposition to customers & partners.

Necessary Skills and attributes:

The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects, sales and simultaneous performance objectives. Work independently in determining ones personal work schedule to be productive. Work in a team environment, in order to achieve personal and team project milestones and to complete assignments within established time frames. Accept tasks and problems/situations that differ, requiring creativity to search for optimal solutions, when only broad and general guidelines exist for solving problems. The ability to utilize implied knowledge of task alternatives and to make spontaneous decisions using past experience and the guidance and/or successful experiences of others. Demonstrated ability to interact at multiple levels within customers organizations. Negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer directors, managers and staff with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations. Make professional technical sales presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, to an audience of high technical skills, management and operational experience. Ability to achieve results within established time frames and requirements. Develop accurate proposals and designs to meet customer needs.


Physical/Mental Demands

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PCs, printers, copiers, faxes,

and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.
