**Job Description Summary**
As a Data Engineer in the Ingestion & Integration spaces you will work on developing, testing and implementing real-time and batch Data Integration solutions; making Data available for analytical and reporting needs with defined data quality. You will be working on integration technologies both in on-prem and cloud environments using a suite of tools for data migration and automating solutions while maintaining a lean mind set to scale Data Ingestions in the enterprise Datalake.

**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Develop data ingestion Jobs in-line with defined data pipeline using AWS technologies(Glue, DMS), Talend & HVR tools
+ Hands-on development with tools such as Talend, HVR, AWS native services S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, DMS RedShift
+ Utilize CI/CD Processes to automate development, deployment and testing
+ Write SQL querys to pivot and develop custom jobs
+ Managing Ingestion metadata as you develop the new Integrations and maintain documentation for jobs that are developed
+ Collaborate with business users, architects and developers to build solutions that meet business needs
+ Optimizing data integration flow for increasing data volumes and better latency
+ Operate in Agile framework, creating user stories from and tasks from customer requirements to track project progress
+ Provide input to the technology plan for the organization, ensuring those plans integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure ecosystem. Support, advice, assist, guide, and resolve problems associated with solution
**Basic Qualifications/ Requirements** :
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent (STEM)
+ Minimum 3+ years of experience as Data Engineer specialist.
+ Hands-on experience in programming languages like Python, Spark
+ Hands-on experience with AWS services - S3 / Glue / Glue Catalog/ Lambda / SNS / SQS / Dynamo DB / RedShift / EMR / Apache HUDI / DMS / EventBridge / CICD
+ Exposure to Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) tools like Informatica or Talend or HVR.
+ Hands-on experience in writing SQL scripts for Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Hive
+ Exposure with Big Data / Hadoop / Hive.
+ Exposure to unstructured datasets and ability to handle XML, JSON file formats
+ Ability to understand logical and physical data models, big data storage architecture, data modeling methodologies, metadata management, master data management & data lineage techniques
+ Exposure to Agile framework with an ability to collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional teams and focus on essential priority work.
**Behavior skills:**
+ Partner with other team members to understand the project objectives and resolve technical issues.
+ Communicate project status or challenges in a clear and concise manner to the cross team members.
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Experience in Ingestion tools: Talend, HVR, AWS native services S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, DMS RedShift
+ Experience in different types of ingestion patterns real-time, schedule, event-driven.
+ Experience with CDC/Incremental loads using above specified tools and technologies.
+ Experience with CI/CD Processes to automate development, deployment and testing
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with story owners
+ Self-driven to learn new technologys and build technical skill sets.
+ Experience with Agile project delivery frameworks
