As a Senior Supply Chain Production Planning Manager, you will specifically focus on production planning for Care Chemicals NA assets, including leadership of a team of planning experts dedicated to the sites and export operations for servicing our affiliates and international customers. You will be responsible of continuously improving performance for a more agile and responsive supply chain, managing key strategic supply chain initiatives and integrating seamlessly with the other functions across EM Care Chemicals NA, including supply chain, quality, product management and commercial sales.

Leadership for a strong team of professionals managing the Production Planning (including raw material and empty package planning) and Export management for Care Chemicals NA
Collaboration with local and global BASF Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Support, and Product Management Teams to drive growth initiatives.
Lead and improve planning excellence initiatives for master data quality, training and planning systems and procedures to provide the highest level of service for our customers. Additionally, support the design and implementation of new and improved planning tools for the existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enhance flexibility.
Drive increased agility and reliability for materials supplied to our customers through BASF network of planners and logistics team, as well as communication and management of outages, supply interruptions, and delays with a focus on impacted customers.
Strong focus on net working capital (NWC) with a LEAN/Six Sigma approach to control and manage.
Leadership in execution and improvement of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, active participation in the EM Global S&OP process representing NA with responsibility to manage the Supply Reviews for Care Chemicals assets in NA and representation at the Executive S&OP.

Your formula for success…
Minimum 10 years work experience: preferably in Supply Chain/Production planning
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Ability to multi-task, project management skills, ability to deal with conflicting deadlines and priorities, strong organizational planning, and problem-solving skills and being highly detail oriented.
Strong focus on teamwork and communication
Proficiency using LEAN/6 Sigma methods, SAP APO, R3 and solid ERP functional/process understanding.
Advanced knowledge of how data transfer and Excel required.
