The Global Information Security (GIS) group provides services and solutions to protect the value and use of Disneys information through risk evaluation, collaboration, standardization, enforcement, and education across the enterprise. We protect the brand and reputation while enabling and supporting business objectives. GIS teams are located in Seattle, Burbank, and Orlando.
In order to ensure that our services keep TWDC secure, we follow an ongoing, iterative process, including continued reevaluation of our services over time to address emerging threats as well as changes in business and technology. This process includes:
+ Analysis of known and emerging threats to determine risks against TWDC assets
+ Creation, maintenance, governance and communication of security policies and standards across TWDC
+ Assessment and audit of compliance against the security policies and standards
+ Assurance that TWDC assets are effectively managed and monitored to meet TWDC security criteria

The GIS Security Automation and Orchestration team provides automation engineering and data management services to optimize security resources, increase business agility and improve control effectiveness; reduce risk and lower per-unit cost of securing assets across The Walt Disney Company. SAO is a devops team, primarily using AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3, EC2), Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Tableau, RunDeck, and Pentaho. Our solutions involve security tools such as Tenable, Axonius, Tanium, Prisma, etc. and various technology infrastructure and application management solutions. Our standard approach utilizes Python, JSON, & SQL supported through Git and JIRA. We leverage a variety of other technologies and methodologies as needed to address specific use cases.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manages intake, prioritization, project delivery, and operations related to Global Information Security Automation & Orchestration service offerings.
+ Collects, grooms, and curates use cases from a diverse customer base to drive future work.
+ Prioritizes, plans, schedules, and manages execution against user stories in Agile pipeline, meeting agreed to timelines and remaining within project and departmental budget.
+ Responsible for scheduling and directing 24x7 operations staff to meet information delivery and uptime availability targets.
+ Develops strategies with defined, SMART milestones to increase team delivery against efficiency and risk reduction targets.
+ Manages communication, updates, and coordination with peer teams in GIS, as well as stakeholder engagement with teams across a large, heterogenous and complex enterprise.
**Responsibilities also including exhibiting technological expertise, experience and management of activities related to:**
+ Leading collaboration with experienced engineers on the architecture of SAOs tools, platforms, and processes to meet target risk reduction, efficiency and control coverage goals.
+ Developing and delivering solutions with SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS Services, Python, Elasticsearch and Tableau or similar technologies.
+ Managing transition of solutions from intake, through development, to operational support.
+ Managing an Agile engineering process using user stories, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, JIRA and GitLab.
+ Managing automated ETL/ELT to and from diverse data sources in SQL, JSON, Flat files, XLS, and retrieved from a variety of source locations, including WebAPIs, S3, and OneDrive.
+ Developing automation, orchestration and information-based use cases from initial requirements through final delivery of code and infrastructure. Inclusive of Agile Management of workload.
+ Intaking new use cases, and designing solutions to meet requirements, managing expectations of use case owners and assuring their understanding of exactly how automation and data processing will change the way they work.
+ Synthesizing use cases, structuring development work into tasks, and creating other technical documentation to support engineering, delivery and sustained operations.
+ Managing and continuously improving team operations, including management of vendors, tool selection, and process improvements.
+ Targeting and prioritizing use cases that have the greatest impact on risk reduction, business agility, reduction of costs, optimization of resources, or managing of complexity.
+ Developing monitoring and alerting, triaging and responding to operational incidents, including communication with clients and stakeholders.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS in computer science, related field or appropriate work experience
+ 6 years experience in a devops, software engineering or cybersecurity automation team
+ 3 years managing engineering projects and operations of critical systems
+ Strong communication, organization and management skills; experience with Agile, DevOps, Git, Jira, SQL, Python, JSON, XML, AWS Services, Snowflake or similar technology platforms and methodologies
