Manage the global Home Storage (HS) project portfolio, inclusive of all Growth, Sustainability, Cost Savings and Business Continuity projects that collectively must follow the E2E NPD process and deliver on category strategy, financial and share goals
Manage operations for all Global and Battleground Stage Gate meetings
Identify, create and apply internal/external best practice tools and methodologies across categories and functions to influence continuous process improvement in areas of strategic importance
Coach and support teams on E2E NPD, stage gate and GCC processes to ensure strategic alignment and execution of healthy portfolio to deliver category business objectives
Program manage a strategic process improvement workstream and actively collaborate on all other Delivery Systems-led initiatives
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as End-to-End New Product Development (E2E NPD) process expert and navigator for Home Storage category, which includes leading Stage Gate, Global Category Council and Portfolio Council forums, plus actively participating as part of the cross-functional HS leadership team
Analyze portfolio data to generate insights that influence and enable data-driven decisions for the Home Storage category
Support cross-category operations of GCC and StageGate meetings through pre-read coordination and meeting minutes/action log ownership
Improve efficiency and effectiveness of E2E NPD key forums through meeting evaluation and identification of improvements opportunities
Coach teams on the best practices associated with navigating E2E NPD process and principles, in Battleground operating model and use of Visual Performance Management and escalation of critical issues to cross-functional (marketing, RDE, GSC) category leadership
Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Systems & Analytics team, category leaders and battleground teams, and the Project Manager CoP to drive improvements to capabilities, processes and tools
Partner with Delivery Systems Workstream Champions to understand the deliverables for each workstream. Collaborate to build change management & roll-out plans; Manage the execution of those deliverables within your assigned category
Provide limited portfolio support to Shoe Care and LSB-ROW category teams by initiating new project creation process
Support and/or lead E2E NPD training for the organization, responsibilities may include development and presentation of content associated with existing or new capabilities, processes and/or tools
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor's technical/business degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in product development project management OR a master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience in product development project management
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Experience with process ownership, process governance and/or leading and implementing process improvement initiatives
Demonstrated success of product launch through commercialization
Strong organizational skills and demonstration of leading effective group meetings to deliver on commitments
Demonstrated track record for successfully managing a complex set of projects and processes to deliver business results
Demonstrated collaboration and influencing skills, including strong evidence of cross-functional partnerships/relationships
Has experience with the E2E NPD process and Project Management
Has experience with formal Change Management philosophy and practice
Strong English communication skills are a must, both verbal and written
