Reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead, the Digital Marketing Specialist will aid in growing JBPCO and Business Units' digital marketing and marketing automation. The role integrates strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration to execute on marketing strategy, drive innovation and business results. Success in this role will utilize experience to analyze business needs of Marketing and IT to recommend, implement and optimize marketing technology tools. The person will play a lead role in driving digital strategy for the smaller JBPCO business units, and ensure consistency across all business units.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will lead the SFDC/Pardot implementations and executions (among other digital marketing components) from a Marketing Operations perspective. The person will understand operational marketing needs and translate them into functional requirements. They will also ensure that all marketing technologies work together as needed, notably the websites, analytics, Pardot and SFDC, among others. Projects may include launching new technologies, optimizing existing processes, supporting new features, enablement, business process reviews, etc.

The role is part technical and part marketing with a deep knowledge of marketing automation platforms and comfort with Marketing data and segmentation, for analysis and reporting on marketing initiatives. This person will manage the company's marketing automation and emails across the company to support lead management and customer retention. The person will assist the digital marketing lead in all aspects for both large and small business units, ensuring consistency in our digital marketing efforts across the enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the BU's and other internal stakeholders to understand digital marketing objectives to ensure alignment with project outcomes and effectively meet strategic and tactical needs.

  • Build a cohesive and unified view of marketing data and reporting.

  • Lead implementation and support of CRM and marketing automation systems.

  • Assess data quality and make recommendations for how to manage cleanliness.

  • Develop automated and replicable marketing automation programs for digital marketing programs.

  • Understand industry best practices for automation tools like SFDC and Pardot. Best practices can include lead routing frameworks, lead nurturing strategy, assessing lead scoring performance, optimizing integrations between Marketing Automation and SFDC, user and data security practices.

  • Partner with developers and program managers to establish timelines and ensure delivery of projects and requests.

  • Manage technology-related vendor relationships.

  • Understand, evaluate and recommend new ways that technology can improve marketing functions and contribute to the firm's business development goals.

  • Work closely with internal teams and vendors to manage the development, implementation, and integration of approved new requirements to existing marketing systems.

  • Provide user training and support and develop functional documentation for all marketing technology platforms.

  • Drive the governance of the system integrity and performance of various platforms.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' Pardot and Salesforce experience.

  • Pardot certification and/or SFDC is a plus.

  • Experience in process and system development with governance.

  • Someone who seeks enhancement and efficiency at every turn, having an eye for scale and automation.

  • Bring new ideas to the table and seek constant improvement and growth.

  • Experience with content management systems, AdWords, PowerBI a plus.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Strong sense of initiative in seeking out new technologies useful as practical marketing tools.

  • Highly motivated self-starter able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and has strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent technology and database management skills.
