AECOM is seeking a motivated, hands-on, and creative individual to assist the client's (New York City Housing Authority) Energy Project Management team. This individual will have an opportunity to provide analysis on projects, execute work plans and participates in data collection.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Set up introductory meeting with ESCO for IDIQ EPC
Research EPC construction for EPC process documentation memo
Provide water data to consultants for analysis for switching from multifamily program to volumetric
Bi-weekly status call with ESCO and Consultants to track site visits and fulfil data requests and ESCO RFIs
Work with ESCOs to find a time and place that works for all parties involved in the site visit
Complete EPC process documentation memo
Submit RFP package to the Energy team and set up meeting to discuss
IGEA research for EPC
Gather and organize documents to inform IGEA task order template
Review EPC documents
Familiarize with HUD requirements and submission process
Assist NYCHA to track utility programs and incentives from completed boiler jobs
Familiarize with NYCHA Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and assist Energy staff to manage the program
Responsible for creating resident engagement materials for energy programs, providing utility data analysis for HUD reporting, and assisting in management of current NYCHA EPC
Ensure that all Project Team members understand the project goals and their role(s) on a project, regardless of the project phases in which they are involved and their level of involvement
Identification of changes, recommendations and lessons learned
Familiarize recommended development and contact respective site PMs to request a site visit for ESCOs by giving background and scope of work; and coordinate site access
Assist NYCHA in reviewing the audit package (recommended ECMs) assembled by the individual ESCOs to evaluate future energy savings
Help NYCHA to secure financing for the energy efficiency upgrades and assist in negotiation and execution of the Energy Service Agreement (ESA)
Carefully review ESAs and help coordinate submission to the Board for approval
Monitor the efforts of the CMs by implementing and enforcing protocols intended to influence their performance
Collaborate with the CMs from planning, through design, to completion of construction and that communication is clear and effective throughout the entire process
Assist NYCHA in measuring actual savings within a facility from one or more ECMs and analyze the accuracy of the projections
Through M&V leverage the incentives that HUD offers to PHAs that do EPC work
Minimum Requirements
Must have completed three years of study
Preferred Qualifications
NJ or NY Agency experience preferred
Must have energy related background experience
