KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, National Director in Charge of Partner Care to join our Firm Taxes organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Support senior firm leadership in various initiatives related to partner compensation, tax and financial issues, serving as subject matter expert for partner financial issues and working in coordination with Partner HR Services, HR, Benefits and the Pension Plan team on firm initiatives related to partners; Build strong, collaborative relationships with individuals within these teams and within the organization to foster an open flow of information and coordination to provide exceptional service to partners
+ Oversee current library of partner reference guides and tools, issuing Federal and State K-1 Instructions while developing and presenting MSOs and all Partner Care communications; present at various firm events
+ Help with Tax and cash flow planning assistance to Direct Entry Partners and internal partners, implement and review the Partner tax return review process for non-PTS clients in accordance with Global Risk Management standards
+ Partner with talent management team working with KPMG direct entry Partner candidates to explain the compensation model and various firm benefits to prospective candidates
+ Technical escalation points for employee tax gross-up issues and SIRVA relocation gross-ups, assist with various questions from partners, area controllers and HR professionals on DPP rotation and Commuter assignments to ensure compliance with all state laws and Federal tax reporting requirements
+ Manage and train preferred mortgage lenders as well as PSIP brokers on Partner Compensation and cash flow
Qualifications:
+ Minimum ten years of experience in public accounting or similar position in a corporate tax department with experience directing and managing a team of eight to twelve professionals
+ Advanced degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting/Finance or BA with professional certification (such as, CPA)
+ Service delivery manager for global mobility service (relocation, tax services, compensation and policy development), some payroll reporting experience, taxable allowances and gross-ups, SME for Partner Taxes and High net worth Individual income tax matters
+ Internal client service delivery and satisfaction; Escalation of operational issues; Develop policy and process
+ Work with treasury, partner accounts, pension plan, HR, compensation and benefits teams as well as senior firm leadership
+ Develop communications and present technical tax subject matter materials to various audiences
