Description

SAIC is seeking a Full-Stack Developer position that will support the development, testing and deployment of software applications required by our customers and support software maintenance activities on all designated software systems currently in production. The work location is at Client site in Rockville, MD.  But, the position will telework most of the time. However, the candidate should live in Washington Metro area to be able to come in to work place as needed. 
 
Responsibilities included:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based forms and dynamic data driven web applications

• Work with senior development staff and system architect to provide technical solutions to requirements 

• Conduct unit tests based on the scenarios to provide a high level of software quality assurance

• Write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections

• Provide Testing support

• Work well individually and/or part of a team 

• Telework or work on customer site as needed 

Qualifications

Education required:
·    BS in Computer Science or related field
 
Required skills and experience:

• Experience in software and web development

• Ability to develop web applications using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP/JSTL, .NET, SQL

• Ability to write SQL queries against a relational database

• Support DBA and Database developer with databases design and development

• Agile development experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Subversion (SVN), GitHub

• Experience or knowledge in AWS, AWS RDS, Drupal, PHP Ability to function in an Agile team and work within the SCRUM framework is a plus

• Ability to create technical documentation and process diagrams

• Experience with testing and/or quality assurance, and configuration management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and dependable with the ability to learn quickly

• Experience in Drupal, SharePoint is a plus

• Experience in mobile development or responsive design is a plus

• Experience in Testing is a plus

• Experience in configuration management and Atlassian Tools administration is a plus

• Experience and understanding of 508 Accessibility standards implementations

• Experience working on-site in a government facility a plus

• Experience with direct client interactions

Other requirements:

• Ability to get Public Trust clearance
