GWIM Associate Team Ops Manager - Trading Desk Support

**Enterprise Overview:**



The purpose of the role is to support and foster the overall service strategy for Wealth Management. The associate managers a diverse team, placing focus on mentoring, coaching and training, the business support structure, problem resolution and service efficiencies. Their broader responsibilities include identifying and implementing strategic service and technology solutions, working closely with business partners across diverse business to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels, as well as vendor and project management.



**LOB Description:**



Wealth Management Retail Clients have access to trade large blocks of equities or options through the Investment Solution Groups block trading desk. This Wealth Management Operations role provides operational support to the Investment Solutions Groups options and equity block trading desks. The operational associate is co-located on the ISG Block Trading desk to provide seamless support for trading activity by the desk. Primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following:



+ Allocate manual brokerage block executions to individual Client accounts

+ Assist in the verification and processing of foreign currency to US dollars to support international trades

+ Monitor trading system for trade rejects, research and resolve in a timely manner

+ Aggregate trader spread sheets and compile desk activity reports

+ Book all manual block street side options and equity trades executed by the trading desk

+ Ensure accuracy for all negotiated trades execute by the desk

+ Liaison with internal trade clearing and settlement teams to identify and resolve trade breaks for desk activity

+ Assist retail traders with trading desk error resolution

+ Provide desk phone support as needed

+ Provide back up support to options block trading desk as needed

+ Participate in project meetings for trading application enhancements



**Required Skills:**



+ A minimum of 1 year related experience in financial services

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills

+ Knowledge of equities and the equity trading lifecycle

+ Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

+ Detail oriented individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills



**Desired Skills:**



+ Experience resolving equity trade breaks

+ Financial product, sales or trading desk support experience

+ An aptitude for problem solving

+ Knowledge of trades processing systems such as TRAQCS and TDE

+ Experience with Bloomberg terminal
