Are you an analytical professional who can translate financial data and tell a story? Guardian has a career opportunity in the role of Lead, Financial Analysis where you will have oversight of the enterprise's portfolio financials and act as a trusted partner across business lines.
You Will:
Oversight of the enterprises portfolio financials:
Maintain accountability and visibility of the portfolios ongoing earnings contributions (financial benefits and ongoing expense tracking)
Provide financial insights and organize monthly reviews for the enterprises top initiatives, with key stakeholders
Maintain a centralized view of our enterprise portfolio financials and ensure quality control
Liaise with Enterprise Solution Delivery and Financial Planning & Analysis organizations on a regular basis
Distribute monthly portfolio expense results to appropriate stakeholders, including Corporate FP&A and the Enterprise Solution Delivery organization
Provide assistance and research into portfolio financial questions
Obtain transparency around portfolio initiatives
Partner with other FP&A team members, apprising them of portfolio financial updates
Ensure portfolio financials are reflected appropriately in the General Ledger and enterprise schedules
Portfolio Planning:
Provide centralization, financial controls and data extraction of lean business cases
Assist business partners in lean business case development
Centralize and assist with portfolio planning decks consisting of strategy alignments, portfolio trends and earnings contributions
Consolidate processes around budgeting and reforecasting
Other portfolio financial items:
Prepare adhoc financial summaries with detailed and insightful analytics
Engage in transition to Oracles project accounting system
Analyze key performance indicators and build out of other portfolio performance metrics
Automate and enhance processes where applicable
You Have:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance or related field
Demonstrated analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills with emphasis on Macros, V-lookups, etc.
Experience creating analysis presentations to leadership
Experience supporting multiple business partners
Demonstrated communication to senior leadership with the ability to make suggestions based on analysis
