Position Overview:
Kroll is looking for an Automation Engineering Development Manager to join its corporate and Cloud Operations team. The individual will lead a team of DevOps engineers responsible for implementing process automation and best practices. We are looking for an experienced candidate with experience leading teams, developing system integrations, and CI/CD.
Responsibilities:
The Automation Engineering Development Manager will lead a team of engineers in working on process automation and system integrations. The role is a technical manager, and they will be responsible for solution architecture as well as team mentorship.
Architect & implement system integrations using Power Automate Flow / Azure Logic Apps, Power BI, and Power Apps
Architect & implement dashboards using Power BI
Architect & implement custom Azure DevOps extensions
Own all system integrations and their release cycles, developing and contributing to the process and tools
Own the development and release of custom Azure DevOps tools.
Interact with and create REST APIs
Be knowledgeable about security principles and practices and enforce, when needed
Weigh in, educate, and be the advocate for scalable and maintainable architectural decisions
Partner with business and technology leaders to reduce support, find efficiencies, increase performance, and educate on best practices
Partner with organizational infrastructure and security teams to assure compliance
Collaborate with Release Management to perform intra-team releases using best practices
Proactively identify architectural issues and implement solutions
Maintain and plan work within Azure DevOps boards using Agile/Kanban
Collaborate with team members to address blockers quickly and effectively
Act as a technical mentor to all team members
Communicate in an effective manner that promotes healthy relationships with both internal and external team members
Requirements:
6+ years of relevant technical experience.
1+ years leading or managing teams
Experience being a coach, mentor, and leader
Self-motivated individual that has excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Full understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Excellent customer-facing support and fault resolution skills
Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines
Competent with Git and comfortable managing large git repositories
Ability to Script with PowerShell and Bash
A passion for technology & a thirst for knowledge, with an openness to learning new and emerging DevOps and cloud technologies
Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Experience with system integrations
Experience with cloud providers, both Azure and AWS preferred
