**Job Purpose** :
The E-Trading Risk Management (ETRM) team continues to grow as does the groups remit within the Risk organization. ETRM covers all E-Trading activities across the firm with most of that activity centered in Citis Market trading businesses (FX, Equities, Rates, Credit, Futures and Commodities).
ETRM works across each of the risk strips Market, Credit, Operational and Model Risk as well as Independent Compliance Risk Management, to develop the risk framework. Working in partnership with each of the risk stripes, ETRM provides primary oversight of the firms adherence to its E-Trading Risk Management Framework, policy, and standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
The E-Trading Enterprise & Framework Risk Manager will be responsible for progressing the enterprise aspect of our E-Trading risk management framework and the continued enhancement of the framework including the policy and standards. The successful candidate will be expected to provide and coordinate thought leadership on E-Trading framework development, risk assessment and control requirements for activities covered by policy. She/He will manage a small team of risk managers and will oversee cross risk stripe coordination.
Additionally:
+ Coordinate the implementation of enhancements to Citi's E-Trading Risk framework and governance standards
+ Proactive engagement with E-Trading related governance forums
+ Work with ETRM team and 1st line risk owners, drive continuous and evaluation of Citis E-Trading Risk framework and identify opportunities to strengthen standards and effectiveness
+ Review and challenge first and second line self-assessment of adherence to our E-Trading policy and standards.
+ Participate in the process to review and approve material changes of E-Trading strategies and applications
+ Oversee E-Trading Risk Taxonomy mappings to Firms Risk taxonomy; work with 1st and 2nd line Risk taxonomy owner to ensure E-Trading risks are mapped to the correct firm risks.
+ Independently access risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
+ Evaluate E-Trading Risks associated with submissions to New Product Approval Committee
**Qualifications/Skills:**
The candidate must have in-depth experience with E-Trading business processes and technology, a deep understanding of operational risk management as well as broad understanding of second line risk management practices
+ 15+ years of experience in E-Trading front office roles and trading Risk management
+ Strong knowledge of markets trading products and electronic trade flows
+ Solid experience across operational, market, credit and compliance risk managed as they related to trading and E-Trading businesses
+ Expertise in of the construction of an effective control environment, especially systematic E-Trading controls
+ Knowledge of E-Trading technology and key elements of trading architecture
+ Experienced Risk Manager and demonstrated ability to challenge traders, senior business management and peers in the risk organization
+ Understanding of regulatory environment and best practices in E-Trading risk management
+ Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation and consensus-building skills
+ Ability to effectively communicate with senior ICG leadership.
+ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
+ Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable tackling complex problems and breaking these down into manageable pieces
