**Job Description:**



Enterprise Role Overview:



Supports sales and/or trading desks. Responsible for trade capture and resolving trade discrepancies. Liaises between trading, trade support, sales, counterparties, counterparty credit, operations, and compliance. Participates in the introduction and UAT of new initiatives, systems, and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance controls. Handles ad hoc requests from clients and the desk. Requires product knowledge of financial instruments relevant to the area supported and across related asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

Provides support to FO desks, responsible for trade capture/reporting and advises FO of position adjustments and/or discrepancies.

Tracks and verifies trades and checks accuracy of processed trades.

Performs a liaison function between originators and traders.

Updates front office on prices and or yields and market movement and assist in sales and trading activity.

Incumbents have a thorough understanding of the firms activities and their assigned product area.

Works under the supervision of senior staff.

Will typically have 3+ years product / trading floor experience.



LOB Specific Job Description:

*Supports Front Office Sales group for the FICC Mortgages desk. Responsible for trade capture and resolving trade discrepancies.

*Liaises between trading, trade support, sales, counterparties, credit, operations, regulatory, and compliance.

*Participates in the introduction of new initiatives, systems, and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance controls.

*Handles ad hoc requests from clients and the business.

*Requires product knowledge of financial instruments relevant to the area supported and across related asset classes.



Key Responsibilities:

Collaborates with Sales desk, compliance, supervision, and counterparty credit risk to ensure all trades are compliant and accurate

Be the point of contact for escalations on behalf of Sales and communicate clearly to raise accordingly

Leverage understanding of the performance drivers for the GBAM businesses to create value add analysis and drive strategic insights

Ownership of functions include trade capture, trade processing, client integration, customer due diligence, counterparty setup, regulatory change management, and client relationship management



Requirements:

Operates with urgency at all times under intense and fast paced environment

In depth knowledge of cash and derivative FICC products

Strong sense of urgency with ability to multi-task heavily - ability to follow up on ALL outstanding issues

Comfortable speaking with clients, senior business heads, auditors, and regulator teams. Ability to handle client escalations delicately yet efficiently

Basic understanding of FICC regulatory environment and industry initiatives

Familiarity with trade capture, client onboarding, and credit risk a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills



Other Qualifications & Desired Skills:

2+ years of trading floor experience

Familiarity with regulatory, credit, AML, static data needs for trading various FICC products - Mortgage product background desired

Be a doer as well as a thinker and demonstrate an ability to drive projects / tasks to completion

Self-starter with outstanding problem solving skills. Excels at getting things done with minimal direction

Be enthusiastic, keen to learn and quick to gain an understanding of complex issues and concepts
