As a NetDevOps Engineer you will be:

  • Interacting with Network/Tools Engineering and Network Operations teams to create innovative solutions to reduce network impacting incidents, improve speed and accuracy of changes, reduce manual work and also enhance network tooling visibility.

  • Work with Solution Architect to document the existing standards and develop designs to improve the efficiency of the automation solutions

  • Working in an Agile framework, and will be part of the Scrum ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Daily Stand up, Sprint review and retrospective etc.

  • Understanding application networking requirements and translating them to a network configuration deployment as part of the automation.

Skills


  • Experienced with Agile development environment

  • Experienced with REST and SOAP API integrations

  • Experience with using Ansible Vault and creating Ansible Playbooks

  • Experience with Django & Django Rest Framework

  • Experience with modern web technologies (such as Angular, Node, Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, Bootstrap, TypeScript, HTML5, etc.) Emphasis on Angular/TypeScript

  • Experience coding automation tests in a web application environment (Selenium, pytest etc.)

  • Exposure to RESTAPI, web applications testing like SoapUI, Postman etc.

  • Experienced with SDLC using Confluence and Gliffy plugin.

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools especially Git

  • Strong working knowledge of CSS, including CSS driven layout

  • Experience with browser development tools.

  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, prototype)

  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, with a strong knowledge of all Cigna supported browsers. (IE/Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)

  • Knowledge of current day networking technologies (LAN, WAN and Firewall), MPLS etc. is a plus.

Additional Requirements


  • Collect feedback from design and technical staff on UI development needs

  • Plan and estimate projects in agile development environment

  • Create conceptual diagrams, visual mock-ups, and manage detailed user interface specifications

  • Conduct automated usability & functional UI testing

  • Engage in requirement specification process for new software functionality.

  • Design and build UIs on Redhat OS, using Python 3, Angular & Django

  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

  • Knowledge of current day networking technologies (LAN, WAN and Firewall), MPLS etc. is a plus.

  • Experience with protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.

  • Conduct code reviews.

  • Support on-call rotation as needed.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111,900 - 186,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
