The Oracle ERP Systems Specialist, provides analytical and technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business application. You will be a member of NA Oracle COE and primarily responsible for the NA Oracle development activities and supporting the different application modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform feasibility studies, translate requirements into an appropriate design, formulate and define application scope and objectives, and implement complete solutions

• Prepare detailed specifications from which applications will be written

• Propose innovative technical solutions and provide and recommend data security solutions when required.

• Maintain awareness of current IT projects within PPG and planned projects in their own IT group in order to promote application sharing

• Collaborate with company customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other partners to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present viable solution options

• In an SBU role, maintain general knowledge of various business processes used by systems applications and possesses the ability to participate in the business support planning process

• Evaluate application software packages, as well as other alternatives and make recommendations to management

• Have an understanding of emerging technologies and coding languages and ability to articulate their value to the Iarger IT Organization

• Individuals in this job position must be technically proficient at an in-depth level and possess a broader knowledge of various technical areas.

• Translate business requirements into software, communications, and equipment requirements for application development

• Assure business application systems are developed in a way that aligns with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices

• Create, modify, and test programming code themselves or provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues

• Oversee the creation of source code, operations, and user documentation

• Understand the procedures and expected system performance associated with applicable technologies

• Respond appropriately to system maintenance requests and use their analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze all ramifications and implement solutions

• Support department processes and procedures concerning methodology and internal auditing procedures

• Work at an in-depth technical level while possessing a broad knowledge of various technical areas

Qualifications:

• A four-year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related subject area or equivalent experience or equivalent technical training

• Oracle EBS R12 Experience

• 6 years of experience with the tools used to support Oracle EBS Application including PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports, Experience with Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, Oracle Application Framework, Java and Jdeveloper with OA Extension, Experience in some Oracle EBS functional areas such as Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, Process Manufacturing, Order Management, Warehouse Management, MSCA, ASCP and GRC Controls.

• Analytical and conceptual skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing

• Possess coaching skills and will mentor other team members

• Skills handling application design and project priorities

• Can foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels

• Ability to act as an effective team member

• Must be comfortable working remotely and with lack of face-to-face with colleagues and managers

• Ability to mentor and direct others and that you have done so on multiple projects, some of which are outside the area of immediate expertise

• Understanding of the Agile development
