Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Senior Technical Leader to be based in our New York Metro office.
The Senior Technical Leader will be responsible for the following items:
Senior Technical Leader to oversee the technical delivery of multiple projects at the same time. Both big and small
Leads the implementation with all projects of the architectural technical standards. And coordinates with other disciplines, such as structural and MEPF, to coordinate architecture and engineering standards
Technical delivery lead on major commercial towers and transportation projects in the New York area
Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities
Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments
Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of architecture
Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches
Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization
Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field
Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience
Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
Manages a group of architects and/or designers, coordinating activities of the unit.

Minimum Requirements
BA/BS in Architecture plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Architecture License is required
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication and leadership skills
Professional experience using Revit and Autocad
