The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing design and engineering activities related to cloud initiatives and the DevOps suite of tools used to deploy applications to the cloud.
You will
Design, build, and support advanced cloud automation workflows and tools used to support automated CI/CD pipeline application deployments into AWS using Jenkins, Artifactory, Puppet, Packer and Terraform
Design and implement enterprise-wide layered cloud image management and deployment optimization systems with support for public/private software repositories
Design, development, and support of automation modules using Puppet Enterprise integrated with enterprise metadata
Adhere to the process and security standards when building application infrastructure in AWS
Serve as enforcer for DevOps practices to prevent technical drift
Maintain key service level agreements
Onboard new applications into standardized release pipelines
Work closely and collaborate with technical peers, business operations and enterprise testing teams
Provide guidance and direction to App Dev teams in regard to DevOps processes and technical/pipeline standards
Participate in team wide Change Management processes as both implementer and verifier ensuring changes are completed efficiently and correctly
Participate in security reviews for application security groups
You have
Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience with DevOps practices and automation tooling
Experience with Terraform or Cloud Formation scripting
Experience with DevOps orchestration tools such as Jenkins
Experience with AWS cloud services
Experience with managed container services (ECS, EKS, and Fargate) is a plus
Experience with Thick AMIs (Amazon Machine Images)
Familiarity with Packer
Understanding of application code and build scripts
Strong understanding of infrastructure components and how they are architected in AWS
Experience with public cloud migrations/transformations
Experience with java, python, or .Net scripting

The primary location for this position is remote with opportunity to go into an office in New York, New York, Holmdel, NJ , or Bethlehem, PA
