Tetra Tech currently has an opening for a Sr. Project Manager to manage facilities and infrastructure projects globally. The selected candidate will experience a unique opportunity to be involved with projects located in various areas of the world working with a team of in-house experts in all disciplines. Our dynamic work environment requires thinking outside of the box to incorporate design and construction solutions to adapt to unique project specific challenges.
The successful candidate for this position will lead multidisciplinary design and production teams delivering buildings and infrastructure solutions to federal, municipal, and private clients.
Manage a multiple project portfolio worth between $ 1 M and $ 10 M in design fees.
Ensure superior collaboration and communication within a multi-discipline environment.
Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete projects on schedule.
Review plans and specifications documents for areas of conflict between all disciplines.
Lead the quality control and assurance processes for all projects in assigned portfolio.
Coordinate, document, and control risk parameters of contracts.
Monitor and control the change process within the project portfolio.
Qualifications:
Candidates will have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience with increasing responsibility.
Architect or Engineer background in design and construction.
Design/build experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and delivering on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct development of large projects and pursuits with complex features.
Proven track record of successfully bringing in and executing profitable assignments for clients and building key target client accounts.
Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans for projects and client pursuits.
Sustainability certification preferred (LEED, ENV SP, GPCP).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain certification.
