Web Quality Assurance Analyst

New England Biolabs is seeking a Web Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Marketing Technologies team in validating neb.com commerce and content deployments, to ensure readiness for final users/customers. This role will work closely with other testers, PMs, vendors and cross functional teams to engage in multiple types of testing across a variety of platforms, integrations, devices, operating systems and browsers to ensure data is flowing and publishing as designed, both on test and production instances. Requires curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to dig deeper into functionality to find issues that may not be immediately apparent.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Test monthly code deployments to neb.com, and related sites, in areas of content, user experience, search, commerce and product feeds

  • Regression test for platform upgrades (Sitecore, Salesforce, Coveo, SAP, Hybris, etc.) on neb.com

  • Validation of new digital features/functionality

  • Testing scope includes unit, integration, end to end and end-user

  • Develop and maintain test documentation as needed

  • Assist with build out or updating of test plans/scripts for ecommerce and integration scenarios

  • Execute test plans, scripts and reports

  • Improve upon current testing protocols by supporting automation efforts

  • Proactively communicate with Project Managers to ensure a common understanding of tests performed and their results

  • Attend stand up meetings to coordinate and report on testing progress and findings

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field such as computer science, engineering or IT, or relevant experience

  • Minimum 4 years experience in QA/User Acceptance Testing

  • Expertise in working with test plans, particularly for web, ecommerce and related integrations

  • Proficient with ticketing systems (ex: Jira)

  • Experience with Sitecore, Salesforce, Coveo, SAP or SAP Commerce, or similar web related applications

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong technical skills, in addition to the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple testing initiatives, simultaneously

  • Meticulous attention to detail and an eye for consistency

  • Ability to work independently, while being a team player

  • Experience with testing automation (ex: Selinium, Tosca) tools preferred
