Boeing Commercial Airplanes is currently looking for **Rework Investigator and Inspector B** in the **Renton, WA** area.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Inspectors in this position inspect all types of tooling from initial fabrication of tooling components to the final assembly of major assembly jigs.
+ This may include patterns, dies, jigs, templates, press plates, master models and gauges of various types for conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, manufacturing plans and for workmanship.
+ Tooling Inspectors also perform various in-process inspections, audits and check orders on production parts.
+ Receive/obtain job assignment from Team Leader/supervisor or from call sheet if so assigned.
+ Read work instruction and applicable drawings to determine necessary inspections to be performed.
+ Verify work instruction is complete and accurate.
+ Ensure that the shop and inspection are using appropriate revisions of drawings, software, specifications and other documents.
+ Review the work instruction, drawing and job.
+ Obtain and/or set up the part/assembly.
+ Select and set up the appropriate measuring instruments Perform all layouts and mathematical computations necessary to inspect tooling components. Verify inspections are per the drawing, specification, data set and plan.
+ Identify and document non-conformance items, as required.
+ Record results and process paperwork of non-conformance items per the Quality procedures. Use conventional optics, laser kits, photogrammetry and/or 3-D measuring systems to perform inspections on existing tooling or production parts.
+ Indicate QA acceptance for in-process items and completed jobs on the appropriate paperwork/software and process per the QA procedures, as required. Initiate and maintain all necessary records following inspection procedures, as required.
+ Communicate with and support internal/external organizations and customers to provide clarification and/or additional information.
+ Verify certifications of tools and personnel are current.
+ Handle, use and dispose of hazardous materials in approved manner.
**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.**
**The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**
**Basic Qualifications (Required):**
+ Must have High School Diploma or GED
+ Must have ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
+ Must have ability to Operate computing equipment to access and input job tasks information
+ Must have ability to Work with others as part of a team which includes working safely.
+ Must have the availability to work second shift
**Relocation:**
