Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity. As an engineer on this Engines and Propulsion Systems team you will play a huge role in developing application software for APUs and support safety critical engine controller development for a variety of programs. 

 

Key Responsibilities

€¢ Simulator testing

€¢ Requirement traceability

€¢ Processing system change requests

€¢ Aircraft Integration Issue and Flight test data analysis

€¢ Work in DOORS, ClearQuest, MATLAB, Simulink, Python

€¢ requirements analysis

€¢ requirements decomposition

€¢ systems design

€¢ model based development system design

€¢ systems integration

€¢ systems validation & verification

€¢ customer interaction

YOU MUST HAVE

€¢ Bachelor€™s Degree in Engineering

€¢ 5+ years of systems engineering experience in support of safety critical engine controller development

 

WE VALUE

€¢ Technical leadership to a cross discipline, cross site team

€¢ Experience working within Honeywell€™s system development processes for electronic controllers

€¢ Working knowledge of Honeywell€™s requirement development tools and processes including DOORS and ClearCase/ClearQuest

€¢ Advanced level knowledge of APU control systems and control components

€¢ Create, support and enhance specific action plans

€¢ Promote customer relationships

€¢ Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.

€¢ Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
