**Job Summary**


+ Review warranty part(s) and supporting documentation for compliance with published warranty policies and procedures, document and report findings, and debit claims if non-compliance is confirmed.

+ Provide support to the dealer network and field zone staff inquiries.

+ Support requests and receipt of warranty parts for analysis by Honda North America quality team and their suppliers.


**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**


+ Review Market Quality Technical Report and associated part.

+ Review Market Quality/Supplier reports and be able to research multiple resources, gather facts from dealership repair orders, internal databases, and other applications to support warranty claims.


+ Ability to have a comprehensive understanding of published warranty policies and procedures and communicate verbal or written analysis to zone district, dealership, or other team members about the key points of the repair order, repair and part replaced and claim results.


+ Ability to have or become HAZMAT certified and work with part request orders via Lotus Notes Database.

+ Assist parts receiving clerk as volume or absence dictates to administrative tasks.

+ Offload daily deliveries, identify and confirm correct part receipt and documentation, scan/input receipt and route parts to correct location.

+ Research shipment exceptions: missing paperwork, document discrepancies, paperwork missing part, sent wrong location, etc.

+ Research, resolve, and document process errors.


+ Experience or become certified to operate a forklift.

+ Adhere to building and departmental safety regulations and guidelines. Report all safety and work area or equipment concerns.


**Qualifications/Skills Required**


+ Customer service, interpersonal skills, and problem resolution.

+ Results oriented, organization, attention to detail, critical thinking, and basic project management skills.

+ Basic to intermediate computer proficiencies; Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, EXCEL, Access, Lotus Notes Database, Mainframe and web-based applications.

+ Good working ability to document and compose reports, computer file creation and maintenance of documents including photographs.

+ General automotive systems knowledge preferred.

+ Warehouse and/or auto parts experience preferred.

+ Knowledge of dealership service operations, warranty administration, internal organization-.

+ Physical ability to safely and lift packages and parts, average weight of eight (8) pounds, up to 50 pounds.

+ Adjust to workload volume variance while maintaining safety and quality.


**Education/Experience Requirements (Attributes)**


The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:


+ Associate Degree, Vocational Degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

+ Auto dealership experience with Honda and/or Acura or equivalent work experience.

+ Customer service oriented providing client satisfaction and value-based service. Effectively communicate, educate, and build relationships with all levels of internal and external clients.

+ Basic to Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Mainframe, and web-based applications.

+ Digital camera operation and photo editing and management.

+ Safety First attitude for self and fellow co-workers and clients.

+ Professional and responsible with excellent communication skills.

+ Ability to take and follow directions with attention to detail and quality.

+ Adapt to change and thrive in a fluid environment.


+ Excellent attendance and timeliness.


This position is 40 hours per week and is considered a long-term contingent assignment for a qualified candidate demonstrating consistent, outstanding performance and motivation. Resume and work history required.
