NVIDIA is developing solutions for smart-cities and smart-retail by building super-integrations of NVIDIA SDKs with Project Tokkio; Metropolis for Vision AI, Riva for Speech AI , Merlin for Recommendation Engines and Omniverse for 3D Graphics. What you'll be doing:
You will develop hardware-accelerated speech and vision AI applications that enable rapid creation and deployment of end-end solutions using the latest artificial intelligence and distributed system technologies. You will provide the foundation for a platform to solve a wide variety of smart cities problems. This position offers you the opportunity to collaborate within a worldwide matrixed software development team, and have broad impact within our highly-dynamic and technology-focused company. Responsibilities include:
Build Intelligent analytics end-to-end solutions incorporating perception, speech and analytics for heterogeneous computing platforms
Architect and evaluate AI edge IOT technologies using state-of-the-art microservices architectures to build hybrid and cloud-native solutions
Develop and Train models for the speech and vision use-cases
Develop standardized APIs and schemas for system integration
Implement and develop applications and solutions using the latest distributed technologies to ensure scalability, reliability, efficiency and security
Tackle sophisticated system-level optimization and resource utilization challenges
Participate in a product development lifecycle that values high-standards for clear requirements, software quality and performance
What we need to see:
Significant software development experience on Linux. C/C++/Python preferred.
Bachelors of Science or Master's degree with proven experience in software engineering or full stack development (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong background in design, implementation, and performance optimization of large scale distributed systems.
Hands-on development and deployment of high quality, highly distributed cloud-based RESTful web services
Passion for extending your technical knowledge into new areas
Strong analytical skills and proven success in problem-solving and achieving performance objectives
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Prior experience with use and implementation of media graph APIs (pipelines) and multimedia APIs and frameworks, including open source software projects such as Gstreamer and FFmpeg
Experience with the application of computer vision, conversation AI and/or artificial intelligence to video or audio streams
Experience with containers and deployment automation tools such as Docker (Jenkins, Spinnaker) and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Helm Charts
Proven experience in using message oriented middleware such as Apache Kafka, MQTT, Redis
Full stack or back-end software development experience and best-practices
Experience developing and sustaining commercially-available software products through a full product life cycle
