You Are


As an Analytics and Modeling Practitioner on various projects under SynOps for Marketing you will work with a marketing analytics team and support ETL and ELT processes by creating custom APIs and Lambda functions to collect data from vendors across the marketing ecosystem. Synops for Marketing is part of Accentures SynOps Data and Applied Intelligence team. SynOps for Marketing is an intelligent end-to-end system to connect and transform different, and at times even incomplete, data sources. It overcomes the barriers created by disparate systems by providing clients with a powerful foundation to connect and to truly automate data ingestion, transformation and analysis. SynOps aggregates and assembles data across paid, owned, and earned media (DSPs, AdTech, traditional and digital media), 1st party data systems (CDP, CRM, sales), and 3rd party data (DMPs, retailer, shopping data, etc.) to enable a real-time, self-learning, and iterative experience activation ecosystem. SynOps is complimentary, adding value to the technology a brand may already have in place; it comes with data, technology, automation, analytics and intelligence as a service.




As an Analytics and Modeling Practitioner your responsibilities will include the following:

+ Development, testing, and maintenance of architecture for all SynOps projects. Responsible for delivering workflows to leverage various sources of real time data for personalization and customer intelligence in the digital marketing domain.

+ Implementation of ETL architecture, data pipelines, and Source to Target mapping to load data into a data warehouse from various source systems (APIs, S3, Snowflake, flat files, etc.) using Matillion ETL/ELT.

+ Building cloud-based big data and analytical solutions for our clients by extracting data from various sources and systems, merging, and transforming it through scalable, optimized and intelligent workflows.

+ Creating API connections from various data sources (Google Analytics, Campaign Manager, SA360, Facebook, Adobe Analytics, and others) and integrating them from the ETL/ELT extraction layer into various workflows and other target destinations.

+ Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, and provide solutions for various multinational clients.

+ Develop tools and connectors to improve data flows between internal and external systems while facilitating and supervising data cleansing, enrichment, and data quality improvements.

+ Use AWS cloud components and connectors to make API calls for accessing data from cloud storage (Amazon S3, Snowflake) and Big Data Components like API Query, S3 Load, S3 Unload.

+ Work with other data engineers to implement and improve data platform architecture and design.

+ Support the translation of data needs into technical system requirements.

+ Ensure data usability, granularity, security, and availability by staging and testing before connecting to analytics and visualization layers.

+ Leveraging Python and XML scripting to customize workflows and streamline repetitive tasks for programmatic execution.

+ Involvement with integration and resolution of QA validation for all internal and client-facing reports generated using data within Snowflake databases.






Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or similar field.

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in software or data engineering.

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing.

+ Minimum 5 years working with Python and Lambda.

+ Minimum 3 years working with Snowflake.

+ Minimum 3 years working with Matillion.

+ Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS.




Preferred Qualifications:

+ In-depth working knowledge of data cleanrooms.

+ Experience working with, and managing cloud based architectures.

+ Experience with data modeling, design patterns, building highly scalable and secured solutions.

+ Able to work under pressure with a solid sense for setting priorities.

+ Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.






As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $90,288 - $148,900 and information on benefits offered is here.
