Job Summary:High Focus Centers is seeking an experienced NJ licensed mental health professional with the knowledge base to do assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
Competence:Has a thorough knowledge of mental illness, treatment planning, documentation and the continuum of care. Is able to establish harmonious relationships with patients, staff and community agency personnel. Demonstrates skill and ensures staff competence in areas of universal precautions, CPR, medication management, fire safety, pt. abuse reporting, patient rights, age-related competencies, harassment free workplace practices and HIPAA protocols. Candidates for this position must possess strong engagement and assessment skills with the goal of converting assessments to treatment. Populations to be assessed can be adolescents and adults who have primary mental health, substance abuse or co-occurring disorders.
