Position Summary
Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for applying business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant, and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives. This role will provide data & analytics support for our operations within our Samsung business units, including our mobile and consumer electronics products.
Role and Responsibilities
Uses knowledge of business and data to discover and/or anticipate problems or opportunities where data can be leveraged to address the need.
Conduct business meetings with stakeholders to determine project requirements and milestones.
Be able to ask probing questions to gather business needs in order to build, design, and conduct testing reporting solutions (metric management, dashboards, enterprise performance management).
Demonstrates ability to clearly and concisely communicated complex information to a variety of audiences and mediums.
Work with technical resources to design and model the data preparation.
Design, build and deploy visualizations and reports for requested projects and maintain data analytics platforms
Interprets results of analyses, identifies trends and issues (forecasting), and develops alternatives to support business objectives.
Managing projects, comparing operational progress against planned project objectives, and suggesting corrective actions for variances.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
4+ years background in business analyst experience, preferred
2+ years background in development with practical experience with a least one programming languages (Qliksense, Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI, SQL or equivalent), preferred
Excellent verbal, written in both Thai and English, and interpersonal skills
Experience with data query, visualization, dashboard and/or scorecard tools preferred
Self-motivated and willingness to work with others Preferred
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts/reports to people from other fields
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Completes work independently receives general guidance on new projects
Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
Proactive and detail-oriented with great organizational skills and meticulous follow-up
Be able to use English at work
