In Finance, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in different functional groups such as Accounts Payable, Midstream Accounting, Bank, Revenue and Retail, Credits and Receivables, Intercompany, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Upstream Accounting and Business Analysis and Support.
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Associate Accounting Analyst located in Makati City, Philippines.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
+ Records cash receipts received thru wire, lockbox or checks in an accurate and timely manner
+ Generates monthly, weekly, and daily cash book reports from Treasury reporting tool and/or bank websites
+ Reviews nature of deposits and identifies proper charge code for posting of receipt transactions
+ Posts bank reconciliation items including bank fees, interest income, and other reconciliation adjustments
+ Runs the direct debit collection process in SAP
+ Records intercompany settlements
+ Triggers automated recording of sweeps and certain customer collections in SAP through ZCASH program
+ Answers inquiries sent to the group mailbox
+ Assesses applicability of ZCASH program to manually-posted transactions
Required Qualifications:
+ BS in Accountancy or Major in Accountancy; BS in Accounting Technology
+ Minimum of two years work experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Audit
+ CPA, preferred but not required
+ Experience in one or more of the following systems, an advantage: SAP, JDE, PowerBI, Blackline, etc
+ Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
