KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Cloud Solution Architecture to join our Audit Technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.


Responsibilities:


+ Work with internal Line of Business clients and IT infrastructure teams to properly assess, review and conduct work sessions to identify business technical requirements related to public/private cloud and enterprise services

+ Identify, design solutions aligned to current standards and capabilities

+ Partner with other Architecture teams to develop solution designs and review alternative solutions for best fit

+ Deploy and configure production systems, with a particular focus on ease of configuration, reduction of human error, repeatability and security

+ Leverage large scale monitoring, logging platforms like ELK Stack, Splunk, DataDog, App Dynamics and be able to analyze and debug production issues

+ Maintain a detailed understanding of secure network and application design concepts and a demonstrated ability to integrate security tools with IT infrastructure such as proxies, mail servers, Active Directory Identity and Access controls as well as workstations and mobile devices


Qualifications:


+ Minimum five years of Cloud architecture, security architecture, operational and monitoring experience, preferably within a large enterprise, government, financial services firm or similar environment; minimum five years of Architectural experience with Google, AWS, Azure, IaaS, PaaS; micro-service architecture and architecture models is required

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred; CCSP, GCP / AWS / Azure Certifications preferred

+ Prior experience in full life cycle of software development using Agile methodologies and leveraging DevOps tools/process/methodologies to achieve CI/CD

+ Experience with scripting desired: PowerShell, Visual Studio, Python, JSON and development background a plus

+ Previous experience in any of the following programming languages - PHP, Python, Go, JavaScript (200TEC)

+ Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in very dynamic environment with multi stakeholders from multiple lines of businesses that may having competing needs
