**Key Responsibilities:**


Develop data intensive code using Java EE 8 or higher on Spring Boot Framework.

Work in an Agile Scrum team following the best practices on Software Craftsmanship such as Test-driven development and Pair Programming/Peer Reviews.

Mentor and driveWork with DevOps and adopt a CI/CD based development framework for multiple projects across DS&A and BIE TechSolutions .

Work Ain close cooperation - actively aligns with the technical roadmap, APIs and Interaction Design, with teams based in USA, Canada and other parts of the world.

Drive innovation. Research and recommend new technologies to improve the product development activities.

Work collaboratively with an international team comprising software development, product management and customer success. This individual will be business-aware and is expected to engage with end customers.

Create and maintain necessary software design and architecture documentation.

Keep track of and actively reduce technical debt.

Help mentor and drive DevOps and move towards a CI/CD based development framework for multiple projects across DS&A and BIE TechSolutions .

The selected individual will be a skilled, highly professional engineer, work collaboratively with an international team comprising software development, product management, and business analysis.

Lead development efforts for complete end to end functionality.

Troubleshooting by using problem solving and analytical skills.

This position will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world.

SThis position will support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, mentoring, customer engagement, etc

Create and maintain necessary software design and architecture documentation.

Research and recommend new technologies to improve the product development activities.

Travel domestically and internationally, as required.


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**

Must Have

Knowledge and experience in technologies: Core Java, J2EE, Databases SQL and NoSQL (CouchDB).

2+ years experience working in an agile environment; Working knowledge of agile principles, methods, and frameworks (Scrum, XP, Kanban).

Design and development experience using: Java, Spring Framework, Restful APIs, SOAP, Angular 4, TypeScript/ Microservices, Hibernate, Swagger, Groovy, JavaScript / ECMA Script 6.

Working experience (2+ years) in at least 2 of the following Technologies: CSS, HTML5, XML, DTD, XSLT, Angular, JS and React JS.

Experience with collaboration, configuration control, integration and testing tools (For example Junit, Test NG, Jira, Git, Maven, Selenium).

Desired Skills

Experience in automation testing script development using Selenium.

Working experience in the following Technologies: Toolsriot.js (JavaScript framework), Bulma (CSS framework), Sass (CSS extension), Windows PowerShell, Bash.

SQLite, ImageMagick, Adobe Photoshop scripting.

Experience in DevOps/Cloud Services CI/CD, Dockers, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS.

Working experience with Microservices and understanding of Microservices architecture.

Experience with Linux, particularly CentOS, Red Hat, fedora

Experience in system architecture and design.

Good knowledge in Data Structures and algorithms.


** Preferred Qualifications:**

Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, or Engineering is required.

2 4 years experience in software development
