This is for a systems engineering (SE) position on the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team. This position reports directly to the SEIT MBSE Manager.

As a successful candidate in this position, you will apply your Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience to aerospace and avionics systems consisting of hardware elements, embedded software elements, standard avionics communications interfaces, and sensor systems. You will engage other Systems Engineers in a broader understanding of modeling and assist them in developing Systems Engineering work products, including:

System Specifications, Logically Derived and Linked Requirements, Interface Definitions, System Diagrams, Trade Studies, and Detailed Designs.

The role also involves hands-on experience on SysML model simulation to predict its performance in the real world and performing the safety and functional thread analysis. Position Responsibilities:

Understanding of Business process models, developed models using BPMN. Knowledge of model based systems engineering (MBSE) process, develop models using either SysML, UML, Dodaf, TOGAF, UAF.

Develop system architecture including functional and logical decomposition for process flows.

Requirement decomposition, traceability mapping and management using DOORS/DNG.

Working experience in modelling tools like Cameo Enterprise Architect/Rhapsody/Rational Rose. Fair understanding of Matlab/Simulink models and tools.

Use java script for writing automation scripts. Knowledge of 3DExperience Platform and tools integrations.

Develop, Update and Maintain MBSE Technical documentation that describe how to install, configure, integrate and use MBSE tools and to implement System Engineering (SE) processes in an MBSE tool environment.

Teach/mentor MBSE team members about Boeing MBSE processes and how to use MBSE tools.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

This position requires 5 or more years of proven experience with SysML development methodologies and frameworks like TOGAF and UAF.

This position requires 5 to 8 years of Systems Engineering experience with specific involvement in requirement allocation, system decomposition and verification planning and testing.

Experience using Cameo Enterprise Architecture and/or Rational Rhapsody software is must.

Experience using 3DExperience platform to build modelling solution is preferred.

Having experience with tools such as, DOORS/DNG, TFS/JIRA, Any PLM, Azure DevOps

Experience in working in Agile environment and preferably SAFe certified.

Experience with the following software development languages is highly desired: C++, Java, Java Script, Python.

Ability to effectively communicate with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelors Engineering degree, Preferably Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science

Strong Written, verbal communication with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff

Experience in working with suppliers or other external stakeholders is preferred

Ability to work in a virtual team environment

Typical Education & Experience:

Engineering degree and 5 to 8 years related work experience, OR a Master's degree and 4 to 8 year related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
