Role and Responsibilities
Your role
Youll be working together with the Product Owner Ecommerce Platform (Hybris -> samsung.com) on the day-to-day performance of the platform as well as the development of new features, both locally and globally initiated. You can identify business needs and translate these into systems solutions. Youll support in having bugs identified and fixed, gathering, and documenting requirements and implementing and testing new features, anything from new payment methods to enhanced return opportunities for customers.
Of course, this isnt done by you alone; you have the full support of the rest of the E-store team as well as external test- and development teams, for whom you also are a spokesperson towards business.
Your responsibilities
Your main responsibility as an Ecommerce Business Analyst is the performance and the development of the Ecommerce platform and aligning with third party service providers.
Besides that, your responsibilities are the following:
Together with other business teams you are responsible for creating the local platform roadmap based on the global roadmap.
You will create the business case and requirements for new features and make sure they are planned on the roadmap.
Together with the external and global development teams you will implement, test, and launch these features using both Agile/Scrum as well as PRINCE2 project management processes.
You will align with both external parties to ensure business continuity and identify bottlenecks/business opportunities. Think of payment gateways and other additional services (e.g., insurance, leasing, trade-in, logistics, where you act as first point of contact.
Your team
As an Ecommerce Business Analyst, youll be part of the Digital Platform team (30+ FTE and growing) consisting of among others Customer Journey Managers, Product Owners, UX designers, Business Analysts, Front-end developers, Merchandise specialists and Content publishers.
Samsung as an organization has a multi-disciplinary structure to realize a short time-to-market. This means colleagues from various disciplines work together on everything that is related to the online shop, like, finance, legal, risk, development, operations, service & support, testers etc. The external platform and service providers also play an important role.

Preferred qualifications
As an Ecommerce Business Analyst, you have the following qualification(s):
A bachelor or masters degree (in Computer Science/Ecommerce).
Relevant work experience between 3 to 5 years.
Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Knowledge about various interfaces (XML, API etc.)
