We are seeking talented individuals that are eager to use all their skills and competencies to deploy quickly our groundbreaking robotic assisted surgical therapies to patients, surgeons and hospitals in several countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Join us as a Surgical Robotics Business Developer, where you will be responsible for selling the Medtronic Hugo Robotic Assisted Surgery System to a selected list of our existing hospitals clients. This requires several talents, including the ability to build a coalition of supporters within each hospital, being full of energy to keep going through long and complex sales cycles, topped with a natural eagerness and drive to bring opportunities to closure.
You will thrive in this exciting role when you will be engaging directly with key opinion leaders in the surgical fields, addressing them with flair, conviction and decisiveness. Success will require a team mindset; a genuine belief that great things cannot be achieved alone.
**A Day in the Life**
Be out in the field and travel frequently to meet with clients and colleagues. Occasionally work from home or from one of our many offices across EMEA
Engage with surgeon teams to assess the opportunity for expansion of robotic-assisted surgery
Support surgical teams in leading hospitals to enhance and augment their clinical strategy through the use of the Medtronic Hugo Surgical Robotic System
Convince surgical teams of the benefits brought by the Medtronic Hugo Surgical Robotic System in areas of improved outcomes (faster recovery time, advanced surgical techniques, superiority of advanced 3D high-resolution imaging during surgery, benefits of a digital solution, ease of use for surgical teams, cost-effectivity etc.)
Engage and convince budget-holders and hospital executives by jointly developing business cases and total cost of ownership (TCO) comparisons and cost per procedure analysis to support making informed decisions regarding the purchase and use of the Medtronic Hugo Surgical Robotic System
Structure and develop presentations, pitches, proposals and contracts
Work in teams with minimal invasive surgery specialists and technical support teams on jointly developing business opportunities
Close meaningful contracts and celebrate success
**Must Haves**
Minimum of 5years of relevant experience in leading negotiations and selling complex medical capital equipment with a proven track record of success
An advanced degree
Operative Room background, as well as experience in selling high-cost equipment.
You are a winner, but in the right way. You play by the rules and do not cut corners ethically. You respect and adhere to company policies
Ability to express your ideas straightforwardly and clearly. You enjoy engaging in thoughtful, intelligent, and factual debates, you enjoy critical thinking and are curious and eager to learn
Speak English and German.
Modern computer literacy

You are an expert in the world of surgery, possessing active and deep know-how about minimalminimallyve and robotic-assisted surgery
You maintain an active network in the field of surgery, operatiand ng theatres and have a network of surgeons you connect with regularly
A degree in medicine and hands-on experience as a surgeon
MBA or other advanced business degrees
